3 Ways to Make the Most of your Spring Cleaning
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Spring cleaning is important for everyone, especially if you suffer from allergies. It’s never too early or too late to start. Follow these three easy steps to get you started.
- Make a List
Having a spring cleaning plan is the best way to keep yourself on track. Think about each room in your home and write down your priorities. If you like to visualize, make a rough floor plan of your home on graph paper to map out your plan.
- Make a Schedule
Create a realistic timeline by asking yourself a series of questions like: which areas of my home need the most work? What areas of the home miss routine cleaning? Look back at your list and try to tackle one or two every couple days.
- Take it one day at a time
When your schedule is ready to go, remember to take it one day at a time. It’s easy to get overwhelmed by what needs to be done, but remember there’s no rush and you have a plan. Stick to your list and schedule and spring cleaning will be a breeze.
